1800 Layout with Aluminum Case
The LEOBOG HI98 features a 101-key 1800 layout, providing a compact design while retaining most of the keys found in a traditional 108-key layout. This layout is perfect for those new to mechanical keyboards, as well as users who frequently use the numpad and various function keys. The aluminum case gives the keyboard a premium feel, and the metal magnetic plate with an astronaut design above the right arrow key adds a touch of fun and uniqueness.

Gasket Structure
The LEOBOG HI98 employs a gasket mount, effectively dampening vibrations and reducing noise during key presses compared to other mounting styles. The flexibility introduced by the gaskets enhances responsiveness, resulting in a more tactile and satisfying typing experience.

Five Layers of Sound-Improving Materials
The HI98 is equipped with five layers of sound-dampening materials to eliminate metallic ping and improve typing acoustics. These materials include Poron sandwich foam, IXPE switch pad, PET sound-improving film, Poron bottom foam, and PET insulator film. This combination helps eliminate echoes and provides a pure typing sound with a stable typing feel.

Single Slot Flex-Cut FR4 Plate and 1.2mm PCB
The HI98 uses an FR4 plate, a high-density fiber material that balances flexibility and hardness, providing a consistent and balanced typing experience. Flex cuts on both the plate and PCB contribute to a more uniform sound across keys and a slightly more flexible typing experience.

Hotswappable PCB with North-Facing LEDs
The hotswappable PCB allows users to easily switch out switches without the need for soldering, offering a more customizable experience. The HI98 features 16 default RGB effects and 10 music rhythm effects, perfect for RGB enthusiasts.

Cherry Profile Double Shot PBT Keycaps
The HI98 comes with Cherry profile double shot PBT keycaps, known for their fine texture and clear legends. PBT material is more durable and wear-resistant compared to ABS, preventing the keycaps from becoming oily and ensuring a comfortable typing experience.
